Monday February 11th
Very chilly this morning; the weather app on my Kindle said it was 28 degrees but the water didn't freeze, so it must not have stayed at 28 for long. Even though this area seems much less dry than AZ, the temperature still swings 30 degrees or more each day. Typically it gets to low 60's and cools to low 30's each day, although this is considered a cold spell. I could definitely spend the winter here but my other half still thinks it's too cold.
Sent off an email to Keystone Manufacturing, requesting the specifications for the lug-nut torque be faxed to Costco in Rocklin. I tried to call their customer support number but the answering machine said it was not a work day(?). Then continued making entries in the spreadsheet to catch up on the trip expense record; that will take awhile.
Had some leftover chicken for lunch, thereabout 2pm I drove over to Starbucks and had coffee and a WSJ to read. Later I stopped at Camping World and bought a pliers with round grippers for removing the lug-nut covers on the trailer wheels.
