Friday February 15th
Got the trailer ready to go and rolling by about 10:30 and then drove over to the Les Schwab store in Rocklin. They didn't make us un-hitch the trailer, so we just walked over to a pizza place for lunch while they were working on it. Half way through lunch I got a call saying that the trailer wheels were cracked in several places and they should be replaced (for another $180). And when I looked at the wheels, I had to agree, they were definitely cracked and in more than one place on each wheel.
We didn't get out of the tire store until after 1pm and headed South; we decided to try driving on CA-99 instead of I-5. CA-99 has a few rough spots but overall is better than I-5 and much easier to get on and off for gas or potty stops. Arrived in Fresno RV park about 5:20 and got setup before dark.
