Slept in
the trailer and yes, the bed is just as uncomfortable as it was last spring. Greg helped me route a water hose to the
trailer and I flushed the antifreeze from the water system and got the water
heater going.
Shortly
after noon we all went to the Highway 101 Diner in Sequim to celebrate Violets
birthday. The diner has a 1950’s theme
and is one of Violet’s favorite places.
The food was great; I had a wonderful barbequed beef brisket with steak
fries – yummmm.
We had planned to go to
a theater to see the Lincoln movie but by the time we were done with lunch we
missed the matinee showing, so headed back to the house.
I made a
trip to the co-op to get one of my LP tanks filled; in my notes from last
spring I had stated that one of the tanks was empty and the other was questionable.
Later as
a consolation for the Lincoln movie we watched “Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter”
on the TV. It had some good computer
work in it but I don’t think my life would have been diminished if I had missed
it.
